Much has been broadcast on national television about how secret messages have been found in the bible. Everything from Kennedy's assassination to the World Trade Center tragedy has been supposedly predicted by a system of anagrams and letter arrangements within God's Word.
Torah Codes became the latest hot topic when David Drosnin wrote a book called, The Bible Code. He concluded that extraterrestials put the codes in the bible, along with our human DNA.
Dr. McKay used War and Peace to duplicate similar results. Moby Dick did the same thing. Since his expertise is in computer science, he uncovered that the software used to generate the algorithm was "tweaked." Whatever the software overlooked was conveniently added by Jewish scientists who thought no one could understand Hebrew enough to see through their bogus conclusions.
There are two problems, besides that of foisting bogus books on an ignorant and biblically illiterate society in order to make a ton of money.
- Why is it, that no one can "find" these codes (including the writings of Nostradamus) until after the event has taken place?
- Stuff like this engages people to waste their time on nonsense instead of being interested in how Jesus Christ can save their souls.
